In 2022, Right Hand Australia was founded by two entrepreneurs – Oleksii Storozhuk and Kostiantyn Shmatukha, who brought with them over 17 years of business experience and a passion for quality craftsmanship. Their journey to Australia began in Ukraine, where circumstances beyond their control – the ongoing armed conflict – prompted them to seek a new beginning for their families and professional aspirations.
From Ukraine to Sydney
Before establishing Right Hand Australia, the founders built successful businesses in Ukraine from the ground up:
✔ Oleksii Storozhuk was the founder of WERX, a cosmetics manufacturing company, and ran Bjuter.com, a distribution business that thrived in the local market.
✔ Kostiantyn Shmatukha created and developed Angelo, a furniture manufacturing company known for its quality and craftsmanship.
At the onset of the armed conflict, the combined annual turnover of their companies exceeded $7.5 million USD.
Upon arriving in Sydney, Oleksii and Kostiantyn saw an opportunity to combine their entrepreneurial experience with their commitment to quality workmanship by choosing the construction industry for their new business venture. While their previous experience was in different sectors, the principles of excellence in manufacturing, customer service, and business management proved to be universal and applicable to their new endeavor.
